Process-
Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Admission: Upon receiving a completed registration packet, including all required documentation, applicants are accepted on a first comes first serve basis. The minimum age is 3 years old and all students must be toilet trained.
Kindergarten & First Grade Admissions: All students requesting admission to St. Gregory Catholic School’s Kindergarten program must be five years of age by midnight of August 31st. No exceptions are granted to the kindergarten age entrance requirement.
Upon receiving a completed application packet, including all required documentation, applicants will be scheduled for a Gesell Developmental Readiness Evaluation. Once this evaluation is scored a recommendation will be made as to the child’s readiness for kindergarten or 1st grade.
Second – Eight Grade Admissions: Upon receiving a completed application packet, including all required documentation, applicants will be scheduled for an academic test consisting of math and language arts. This test is used to determine applicants’ current academic ability and predict performance in an academically accelerated environment. Once all the data has been collected the Applicants file will be submitted to the Application committee for Approval.
