Fifth Grade
In fifth grade students are growing and changing rapidly in how they view the world, their fellow classmates and themselves. St. Gregory Catholic School provides a supportive, safe and structured place to facilitate learning and provide students with the necessary tools to navigate the often turbulent, confusing days of pre-adolescent.
Ever mindful of the individual learning styles of the students, we provide several methods for engaging their interests and encouraging their innate curiosity. Whole group instruction, independent work, small group work and individual and cooperative group projects reinforce our inquiry based and activity oriented instruction. Through the Discipline With Purpose program we work together to help our students develop the skills necessary to continue learning, growing and succeeding in their intellectual, spiritual, physical and social development.
