Kindergarten

The St. Gregory Catholic School Kindergarten program is a literacy-rich, five days a week, full-day program. This format affords the great luxury of time together to build oral and written language skills, to explore math and science concepts, to interact socially and to deepen our faith. It is specifically designed to educate the whole child – engaging, stimulating and challenging.

Kindergarten is a wonderful time of discovery in the life of a child. The academic curriculum is abounding with experimentation and creativity to foster and encourage a child's development. While play-filled, Kindergarten is also serious work: the program adheres to the curriculum standards set by the Diocese of Phoenix, the state, and so much more. St Gregory Catholic School Kindergarten is a faith-filled community that honors and celebrates the unique aspects of each person. The Kindergarten program is a supportive, loving environment that nurtures the development of each child.

The experienced teachers combine compassion with patience as they introduce young minds to the world of Catholic school education. While some may have previously experienced pre-k and/or daycare, for others kindergarten represents the first time away from home. Rules, quiet time, and homework are a novelty; each child progresses through kindergarten at their own pace.

From reading to math, library, physical education, science, Spanish, Art and much more, kindergarten at St. Gregory Catholic School is an opportunity for your child's enrichment.  It is THE place to build that foundation that will last a lifetime.
