Third Grade
Third grade at St. Gregory’s is a truly wonderful place. Our philosophy is to educate the mind, body, and spirit of each unique child in a manner that recognizes and celebrates each child’s individuality and interests. The experiences that students
will have in third grade include all academic areas with a special regard to incorporating spirituality and Catholic identity across the curriculum. Each child is valued for their unique contributions in the classroom and is also pushed academically to excel to their highest potential. Every child will grow socially and cognitively because of the social collaborative daily activities that are included in the classroom; as well as cognitively, with the wide variety of academic activities and experiences that are provided throughout third grade.
Our goal is to provide a classroom atmosphere, in which each child feels safe, valued, respected, and challenged to reach their highest potential. We have high expectations of all students and are passionate about promoting a love for learning. The ultimate goal is to help form students who find joy and enthusiasm in their learning and will become life long learners. It is within the foundation of a challenging and supportive classroom environment, that this is possible and you can expect your child to receive this in 3rd grade at St. Gregory Catholic School.
